Our franchise fee is $49,500* franchise for a single location.
We ask that our candidates have at least $200,000* in liquid capital and a net worth of $500,000* or higher.
We are proud of our industry-leading unit economics and look forward to discussing those with you. Our system earned an average of $1,519,199* in sales in 2020! After completing our Questionnaire and demonstrating financial qualifications to own a franchise, we will then provide you with our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) which contains more detailed financial statements and performance of our Franchise Owners.

Each Wag N’ Wash Pet Franchise Owner has a dedicated marketing expert to help with specific, localized marketing needs. Your marketing expert will help you create a marketing calendar, negotiate rates for advertising, and even help you with digital marketing tactics like social media marketing, Google Adwords, SEO, and more!
Our initial investment ranges from $425,050 – $789,350* – considerably lower than other franchises in the booming Pet Care industry!
Once you’ve signed your Franchise Agreement, you can expect your shiny new Wag N’ Wash pet franchise location to be up and running within 6-12 months.
Absolutely! Our Semi-Absentee Franchise Owners will need to hire a General Manager, who must be approved by our Corporate team. Your General Manager will have to be in attendance at initial training and pass a written exam. Semi-Absentee ownership is a great way to grow your business and focus on expanding your Wag N’ Wash empire without having to worry about the day-to-day operations of your store.
We charge a 3% weekly royalty fee for the first 6 months you are in operation, 4% weekly for months 7-12 of your first year in business, and 5% weekly after that.
We find that Wag N’ Wash locations do best in stand-alone buildings or strip malls semi-affluent cities and suburbs with high volumes of foot traffic. Being adjacent to similar upscale-type businesses such as Whole Foods Market also seems to bode well for Wag N’ Wash…after all, we’ve been called “the Whole Foods of pet retail!”
Absolutely! Experience in pet care or grooming is not necessary for our Franchise Owners, but we do find that a background in business, sales, or management is a plus!
At Wag N’ Wash, our philosophy is that training NEVER ends! Your initial training at Wag University will consist of 64 hours of classroom instruction and 166 hours of on-the-job training. Additionally, we require our Franchise Owners and General Managers to pass an 80-question exam upon completion of training. This comprehensive, in-depth training covers all the basics of owning a Wag N’ Wash franchise, including real estate, construction, marketing, product training, and, most importantly, what it means to be part of the Wag N’ Wash franchise family! Our involvement with your success doesn’t stop there- we’re always on call for ongoing support as long as you own your franchise!
Yes- we offer 2 or 3-pack multi-unit agreements for our qualifying candidates, and Area Developer agreements are available on a case-by-case basis. Ask your Development Manager for more details.
