Site selected for Fort Worth area location of a new Wag N’ Wash franchise. Franchisees Carl and Carol Tanner are in the build out phase for their store in North Richland Hills, TX. A soft opening is planned in mid-July. The store will be located at the crossroads of North Tarrant Parkway and Precinct Line Road in a community center anchored by Kroger.
Wag N’ Wash Food & Bakery has taken 4,844 square foot space in an 8,500-square foot building that started on a speculative basis and is now fully leased. The balance of the class A space was pre-leased to Banfield Vet Clinic. The building will deliver in April, jump starting tenant finish-outs. Both businesses will open in late summer.
Colorado-based Wag N’ Wash was named “Retailer of the Year for Concept and Innovation” in February by Pet Product News. The chain has 15 shops in eight states, with Texas adding one more in a portfolio of corporate-owned and franchise locations. In addition to retail products, each store offers full-service grooming for cats and dogs, all natural foods and pet washing, including self-washing stations.
