My name is Kevin—and I want to tell you one thing about myself: I enjoy life.

A few years ago, I was traveling around the world as a cruise line staff member. Fun in the sun—and all that. Then, I got my adrenaline pumped up by working in the never-a-dull-moment field of information technology.

But I have a confession to make: Exciting as all this was—nothing makes me happier than hanging out with Dublin, the somewhat spoiled terrier.

As a matter of fact, when we lived in Colorado Springs, one of our favorite things to do was to take a ride to the Wag N’ Wash—scrub up in one of the custom-designed tubs (which provide an easy-to-use dog bathing option for humans, even for someone like myself who is living with a spinal-infused back), stock up on new toys and treats—and then spend some good old fashioned lay-on-the-couch-time together. (OK—I’d stop for a Venti/Non-Fat/stirred three times (?) White Mocha with whip for myself – it’s not ALL about Dublin.)

When I moved back to the Chicago area, however, I couldn’t find a cool human-pet destination like Wag N’ Wash. Despite searching high and low, Dublin and I never found a place where humans and their dogs and cats could go to get great healthy, animal friendly stuff. You know, the cool toys and the awesome all natural pet treats that make for a tail-wagging good time.

So, since Dublin and I enjoyed going to the Colorado Wag N’ Wash so much, I thought—wouldn’t it be great if we could hang out there everyday? Now, we are doing exactly that in our brand new Wag N’ Wash store here in Naperville.
